Numina Support

Welcome to Numina, an augmented reality app that places art, science, technology and nature into the world around you.

Getting Started

Open the app and tap any circle on the main menu to begin an experience. The label underneath each circle tells you what it needs to launch.

Scan Ground experiences place artwork on the floor around you. Point your camera downward at a flat surface and move slowly until the experience appears.

​

Move Phone experiences float in the air around you. Hold your phone up and move it gently around the space.

​

Scan Image experiences appear when you point your camera at the correct printed image. The Alien Garden experience requires its corresponding poster, available at request.

The information icon in the top right of the main screen explains all interaction modes at any time.

Recording

Tap the Record button during any experience to capture a video. Your recording will be saved to your photo library.

​

Permissions

Numina requires access to your camera to display augmented reality experiences. It also requests access to your photo library to save recordings. These permissions are used only for the purposes described and no data is stored or shared externally.

Troubleshooting

If an experience is not loading, make sure you are in a well-lit environment with enough space around you. Dim lighting and cluttered spaces can affect AR tracking. If the app is running slowly, try closing other apps running in the background and restarting Numina.

If you are having trouble with the Alien Garden experience, make sure you are pointing your camera directly at the poster image in good lighting.
