Quiet Echoes
Location
Jaipur, India
Description
Quiet Echoes is an interactive valley of flowers built from the floral motifs of Rajasthan. From haveli frescoes to block-printed dupattas to marble jaali screens, these patterns bloom across every surface of daily life.
We usually move past them as motifs frozen in stone and thread, where human, animal, and botanical worlds have held still together for centuries. Here, that geometry gives way to organic rhythm. Patterns once held in the palm expand to hold us.
Visitors move through the world from three perspectives: a cultivator, a pollinator, and a forager, each carrying its own way of seeing the same space.
These motifs hold centuries of accumulated observation of the natural world, a way of seeing that persists at the edges of attention.
